Ford Cabriolet
Also know as the Super De Luxe Convertible, the 1946 model was essentially the same as the 1942 version that went out of production during World War II. The major changes for 1946 were a new horizontal grill, plus a navy blue and gray interior that sported a pearl gray over navy blue dash with red striping. The quality of the fit and finish workmanship on this model was very high, and with the pent-up demand for consumer automobiles, sales were brisk. The Super De Luxes came equipped with a 100 hp Flathead 239 cubic inch V-8 engine. Top speed was 78 mph with a zero to 60 time of 19.5 seconds. Mileage was 14.2 mpg on the 16.9 gallon fuel tank.
